Questions About the Member Site

Question Types are video explanations of the different types of questions that commonly appear on the math modules of the SAT.

There may be a few questions here and there that feel random or do not fit perfectly within a category, but the majority of the test is actually very predictable.

These question types are highly prototypical. That means that whenever they appear, the details may change, but the process stays the same.

Question Type videos teach you:

  • how to recognize the question type,
  • how to spot it quickly on the test, and
  • the process you should use to handle it.

Once you learn the pattern, the math often becomes much simpler — it is mostly about recognizing the structure and following the process.

The All Question Types link at the top right takes you to a page with links to every different Question Type currently available.

Each Question Type page includes:

  • a video explaining the type itself,
  • the process used to solve it,
  • several example questions, and
  • links to video explanations of real SAT questions that fit that same type.

So each page is both a lesson and a place to practice seeing the pattern in real questions.

The Question Bank is a large collection of video explanations for every question in 12 different SAT Math modules.

Right now that includes 324 questions total, with more to come.

Use the Question Bank link at the top right to access:

  • every question in the bank,
  • video explanations for each question, and
  • PDF documents of the tests themselves.

It is a great place to review specific questions, revisit mistakes, or just get more repetition with official-style SAT Math material.

The app is designed to help you turn your practice into something much more useful than just a raw score.

Here is how it works:

  1. Take any one of the 12 math modules provided in the PDF documents.
  2. Enter your answers into the app.
  3. The app automatically generates a score report.

Your score report shows:

  • which questions you got correct,
  • which questions you missed,
  • the Question Type of every question in the module,
  • a breakdown of your performance by Question Type, and
  • most importantly, a direct link to the video explanation for every question and every Question Type you need to review.

In other words, the app does not just tell you how you did — it shows you exactly what to study next.

Members get full access to:

  • every Question Type video,
  • the entire Question Bank, and
  • full app functionality.

Non-members can still use the app to get a sense of how they are doing, and they can access some limited Question Type videos and individual question explanations.

But members have access to the full system and the full video library.

How Should I Use This Site?

A good place to start is with the Question Type videos.

Those videos teach you the patterns that show up again and again on the SAT. Once you understand the most common structures, the test becomes much more manageable.

After that, you can move into the Question Bank to see those same patterns in real questions.

A simple and effective order is:

  1. Learn the pattern with Question Type videos
  2. Practice the pattern using the Question Bank
  3. Take a full module from the PDFs
  4. Use the app to analyze your results
  5. Review missed questions using the linked videos

Then repeat the process.

Both can be useful, depending on your goal.

If you are still learning the test, watching Question Type videos first can help you build familiarity and confidence.

If you want to simulate real testing conditions, take a module first, enter your answers into the app, and then use the video links to review exactly what you missed.

Many students benefit from doing a mix of both.

Ideally, use the app every time you complete a module.

The app helps you move beyond “I got this many right” and into “What exact patterns am I missing?”

That makes your review much more targeted and much more efficient.

That is exactly what the site is designed to help with.

If you notice a repeated weakness, go back to that Question Type page, watch the explanation again, and then work through the linked examples and related Question Bank videos.

Improvement usually comes from learning the pattern clearly and then seeing it enough times that it starts to feel familiar.

The goal is to make SAT Math feel much less random.

The more clearly you can recognize patterns, the less energy you waste trying to “figure out what this question even is,” and the more energy you can spend simply applying the right process.

Over time, that leads to faster recognition, fewer careless mistakes, and stronger scores.
